Amber's Take
Space Elevator is the most efficient GALFI earner at 2.5/day — but it needs an Orbit slot. If you have a Planet with 2+ Orbit slots, stacking Space Elevators is one of the best passive income plays in the game.

Instant Upgrade with GALFI

Any building can be instantly upgraded by paying Normal Cost × 1.2 in GALFI at the prevailing exchange rate. This skips all waiting time entirely — no 18h, no 27h, no 91h timers.

You can also purchase buildings directly with GALFI without gathering the individual resource tokens, and without the standard 12h construction wait.

Amber's Take
Save GALFI instant upgrades for your highest-output buildings when you need a fast boost. Don't waste it on early levels — the time savings are small. Level 4→5 skipping 60+ hours is where instant upgrades really shine.
Recommended Build Order
Phase 1 — Foundation (Days 1–7)

Colony HQ → Level 2
Must be done before any other building can reach Level 2. Always keep HQ one level ahead of everything else.

Build Ore Mine
Place on your GFORE or GFMNR slot immediately. This is your primary resource source — everything else depends on ore.

Build Fusion Power Plant + Farm
Buildings need GFNRG and GFOOD to operate. Without these, nothing produces anything. Build both as soon as you have ore.

Upgrade Ore Mine → Level 2
1.5× ore output. Goes from 6→9 GFORE/day (Asteroid) or 5→7.5 GFORE/day (Planet). More ore = faster everything.

Upgrade Power Plant + Farm → Level 2
5→7.5 GFNRG and GFOOD per day. Builds a surplus so buildings never run dry.
Phase 2 — Expansion (Days 8–30)

Build Orbital Shipyard
Required to build all ships. Needs 500 GFMNR + 500 GFORE + 100 TETRA + 100 GFCMP. No shipyard = no missions = no rare resources.

Build Components Factory
Produces GFCMP which is required for all ship construction. Build this before trying to build ships regularly.

Add Residential Arcology or Space Elevator
1 GALFI/day and 2.5 GALFI/day respectively. Stack these on available Lagrange and Orbit slots for passive GALFI income.
Phase 3 — Specialization (Days 30+)

Max out production buildings to Level 5+
At Level 5, buildings produce 5.06× their base output. Keep HQ always one level ahead. Upgrade Mines → Power → Food → Income.

Build Megastructures (Dyson Sphere / Ringworld)
20 GALFI/day each. Requires HYPER and AMRIT. These are endgame — each also unlocks +5 additional build slots.
Amber's Take
The biggest mistake new players make is building too many buildings before they can supply them all with GFNRG and GFOOD. 3 fully running buildings beat 10 empty ones every time. Get your power and food surplus sorted first, then expand.
How Building Operations Work
Loading Buildings
Every building needs GFNRG and GFOOD loaded to operate. You must load a minimum of 24 hours worth of resources at a time. Maximum load scales with level — Level 1 holds 1 week, Level 2 holds 2 weeks, and so on.
Collection Rules
Rewards stack if you don't collect immediately — you won't lose production. You can also cancel production mid-cycle for pro-rated rewards. One-click replenish lets you refill all buildings at once.
If Buildings Run Dry
If a building runs out of GFNRG or GFOOD, it stops producing entirely. No partial output. This is why building your Power Plant and Farm first — and keeping them upgraded — is so critical.
Practical Example
Your Asteroid Ore Mine produces 6 GFORE/day and consumes 1 GFNRG + 1 GFOOD/day. To run it for 3 days: load 3 GFNRG + 3 GFOOD, then collect 18 GFORE after 3 days.
Early Adopter Rewards

Token rewards from Buildings and Missions will be reduced over time. The first economic rebalancing happens 90 days after launch, then every 90 days after. GALFI earnings and mission rewards are expected to reduce the most.

This means the earlier you start building and upgrading, the more you earn. Ships may also become more expensive in later updates. Get in early, build hard.

The early adopter window is real. The game is designed so that first movers earn the most. This isn't just marketing — the 90-day rebalancing cycle means every day you delay is a day of higher earnings you're missing. Build now, optimize later.
