Your starter ship. Can go on any mission type but only holds 1 crew — low earnings. Use it to get started while saving for a Small Ship.
Small Ships
3 Crew Slots
+0 mission roll
Fighter / Explorer / Miner / Yacht
Cost
500 GFMNR + 500 GFORE
50 TETRA + 50 GFEXO
100 GFCMP
3 GFAAC + 1 GFAAR
Your first real ship. Build one of whichever mission type you want to focus on first. Start here before scaling up.
Medium Ships
6 Crew Slots
+0 mission roll
Fighter / Explorer / Miner / Yacht
Cost
1,500 GFMNR + 1,500 GFORE
100 TETRA + 100 GFEXO
500 GFCMP
15 GFAAC + 5 GFAAR + 1 GFAAA
Significantly more powerful. 6 specialists means much higher mission rolls. Aim for this in the first month.
Large Ships
9 Crew Slots
+0 mission roll
Fighter / Explorer / Miner / Yacht
Cost
5,000 GFMNR + 5,000 GFORE
500 TETRA + 500 GFEXO
1,500 GFCMP
30 GFAAC + 10 GFAAR + 5 GFAAA
For serious mission grinding. 9 crew slots stacks XP bonuses massively. Best-in-class for non-capital missions.
Capital Class
20 Crew Slots
+4 to all mission rolls
All specialized types
Cost — Requires AMRIT
15,000 GFMNR + 15,000 GFORE
2,000 TETRA + 2,000 GFEXO
10,000 GFCMP + 1,000 AMRIT
75 GFAAC + 25 GFAAR + 10 GFAAA
The endgame ship. +4 to all rolls plus 20 crew slots is an enormous bonus. AMRIT is rare — farm it from missions and Amrita Mines. Worth every resource.
Amber's Take
Build one ship of each specialization type eventually — you can run 4 missions simultaneously (one of each type). Start with whatever mission type gives you resources you need most. Mining if you need building materials. Social if you want GALFI fast.
Mechs — All Mission Types

Mechs are unique — they can go on ALL 4 mission types, unlike specialized ships. They also provide a flat bonus to your mission roll. The downside: they require AMRIT and are more expensive than standard ships of the same size. If you want flexibility over specialization, a Mech is your best friend.

Small Mech
+1 Mission Roll
3 Crew Slots
Entry-level Mech. Requires AMRIT. All mission types. Good starter flex ship.
Medium Mech
+2 Mission Roll
6 Crew Slots
Best balance of cost and bonus. Most recommended Mech for mid-game players.
Large Mech
+3 Mission Roll
9 Crew Slots
High investment but very powerful. Pair with Mech Pilot for an extra +4 roll.
Capital Mech
+4 Mission Roll
20 Crew Slots
Same roll bonus as Capital Ship but goes on any mission. The ultimate endgame flex unit.
Mech Pilot Bonus

Assigning a Mech Pilot Specialist to the Pilot Slot of a Mech adds +4 to your mission roll on top of the Mech's base bonus. A Medium Mech with a Mech Pilot gives +6 total before any other crew bonuses — that's a huge advantage for all mission types.

Amber's Take
If I could only build one ship for mid-game, it'd be a Medium Mech. The flexibility to rotate through all 4 mission types based on what resources you need is invaluable. You won't always know what you'll need a week from now — a Mech keeps your options open.
Ship Specialization — Which Ship for Which Mission
⚔️
Fighter
Combat Missions
Earns XENOS, GFAAC, GFAAA. Best for combat rewards and alien artifact farming.
🔭
Explorer
Exploration Missions
Earns GFAAC, GFAAR, GFAAA. Best for rare alien artifacts needed for advanced builds.
⛏️
Miner
Mining Missions
Earns GFORE, GFMNR, rare AMRIT + TETRA. Best for basic building resources.
🛥️
Pleasure Yacht
Social Missions
Earns GALFI directly + GFEXO. Best if you want the premium token without buying it.
🤖
Mech
ALL Mission Types
Goes on any mission. +1 to +4 roll bonus. Requires AMRIT. The flexible option.
Simultaneous Mission Rules

You can run 4 missions simultaneously — one of each type (Mining, Exploration, Combat, Social). You cannot run two missions of the same type at once. Once a mission starts, it cannot be cancelled — ships and crew are locked until completion. You must claim rewards before starting a new mission of the same type.

Amber's Take
Assign a Ship Engineer Specialist to your colony slot when building expensive ships — it saves 10% on costs. On a Capital Class ship that's a meaningful saving. And always put the correct Pilot type in the Pilot Slot for your ship — that bonus stacks on top of everything else.
